New to the area or just checking out a new church? We'd love to have you as a guest in a worship service, coffee time, or Sunday School! Some questions you may have...

Where are you located?
We're located on Mossville Road near Route 29 in Mossville, IL, just a few miles north of Peoria, IL. Click here for a map:   maps.google.com/maps/place

What times is your service?
We offer one Worship Service each Sunday at 10:00 am. From 9:00 - 9:45 we have Sunday School classes - for adults and kids, then Worship at 10:00, and then a coffee time with goodies and a relaxing atmosphere to sit and talk at 11:00 am.

Are you a large or small church?
We average 100-110 people for Worship Service. The church comfortably seats over 150, so we have room for you! Parking is within steps of the church entrances.

What should I expect at your worship services?
Our services are about 1 hour long, with music, singing, responsive readings, prayer, and a sermon. On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion). Our pastor speaks on relevant, timely topics, using the Bible as his guide and inspiration. We employ multimedia in worship, allowing you to worship with sight and sound. Our music is designed to appeal to all - those who like "traditional church hymns" and those who like "Contemporary Christian" songs.

I haven't been to church in a while. Am I going to feel out of place?
No worries - you're NOT expected to "know what to do". At every point in the service, guides are available either in the program or on the media screen to help you. And no, we WON'T embarass you by pointing you out as a "Visitor" or ask you to introduce yourself in front of the church. We want you to have a positive spiritual experience in our church! We've been told that coming to our church feels like 'coming home' - we want you to feel like a part of the family.

How should I dress?
While our services are somewhat structured (that's where "Methodist" comes from), our dress is casual, and you'll see everything from jeans to suits/dresses.

I have a young family - what do you offer for kids?
During church services, your children are welcome to stay with you.  If you prefer, you may leave them in our staffed nursery located just behind the sanctuary.  Many children stay in the sanctuary until about half way through service when we have Children's Moment; a time for the kids to come up to the front for a small sermon with the pastor. We have Sunday School classes designed for all age groups. Special events are held for kids (and their parents) during coffee time.

I'd like to connect with others my age. How can I do that?
We offer various social events, service opportunities, and study groups for all age groups. See our events list for more info!

I want to make a difference too. What opportunities do you offer?
A critical part of our mission is serving others. For adults and teens, we have opportunities to serve in the church, community, and the world. See our Service Opportunites page for more info.

How can I contact you if I have more questions?
